Holly N. Deemer, Ph.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Holly Deemer is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing for 20 years. She earned her doctorate at The University of Alabama and completed her internship at The University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center / Birmingham VA / Children’s Hospital consortium. Dr. Deemer uses research-supported Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness and acceptance techniques. Empathy and compassion are key components of her approach to helping her clients. Dr. Deemer views therapy as a collaborative effort with her clients and honors their goals, values, and perspectives as they work together.
